Jimmer, we hardly knew ye.

According to ESPN.com, just two years into his tenure, the Kings are looking to move guard Jimmer Fredette in an effort to get a low first-round pick, where the team would take a shooting guard. The site pointed to Indiana (No. 23) or Utah (No. 21) as potential destinations for Fredette.

The move would make sense for both teams. Fredette was extremely popular at BYU, and when he came out for the draft two years ago, the Jazz would likely have taken him had Sacramento’s then-owners, the Maloof brothers, not sought to cash in on Fredette’s popularity.

I'd take him, young shooter who maybe turns it around, if not kick his ass to the curb when his contract is up

I'd give him a chance as well.

Maybe Duhon and a future 2nd rounder for him???

Or maybe discuss a Gasol for Tyreke package that includes him?

Utah will dig deep for him.  They even tried trading for him last summer, as well as getting him in the draft (as noted already).

And the Lakers have no shot at him, unless we acquire a first rounder.  Sacramento isn't looking for anyone with a contract, and they aren't interested in second rounders.  The Kings are already sitting on the 36th pick, and there's no reason for them to take our 48th.

By the way, Jimmer wouldn't fit.  He's not a spot-up shooter.  His forte is popping the three off the dribble.

Excellent three-point shooter, though, but aside from that, he's pretty bad at everything else he does.

Hell no. I do not want him. He is a one-dimensional player (shooter). I would rather keep and develop Goudelock than have Jimmer.

^ Yeah, Glock might be better at getting his own shot off/creating. Not sure if Jimmer's got as deadly a floater from a wide-range of spots on the court as Glock.

He isn't terrible, but he certainly cannot be a focal point in a team's offense. I am sure Utah will do their best to bring him in to appease their fan base.

He went to college there right and he's Mormon as well just like the majority of Utah folks?

Funny, but D'Antoni seems like a guy who can give this guy the confidence needed.

he got a ton out of Felton,Lin,Nash,Blake. He has a good record with point guards and I know Jimmer isn't a pure point, but even barbosa had his best years with D'Antoni and again Jeremy Lin is kind of like the guy.

I don't know, I think he has some vale.

Any guys who can get HOT from three and with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder.

I think korver and Reddick are examples of how this type of play can get better.

I always liked this guy but the only thing I would trade for him is scrubs like morris or duhon.

Of course Indiana and Utah are the two potential destinations...
