So is Ryan Kelly a Dwight/Phil pick, or is he a Nash/MDA player?

What player/coach combo are still on our roster?

Clear as day.  Can we go ahead and stop looking at shooters for Nash and D'Antoni now?  Thanks.

You feel vindicated?

Congrats. I still think the pace will be conducive to the players we have and training camp will be an asset to win.

According to most post, this is a horrible team, as far as roster, so we can't possibly expect a championship. But let's see if D'Antoni is such a bad coach that he costs us a playoff spot. I mean if he is truly a BAD coach, he will cost us games, and given kobe's status and the age os Nash and Gasol's knees, we should have three broken down former All-Stars and not much else =beyond Hill and Meeks and whomever.

If we get a playoff spot, we can at least asay D'antoni is solid.

If we get a Top 4 spot, you have to give D'Antoni some credit, or do the players get credit only?

If we get a top 4 spot with this roster(barring anymore free agency moves) I will call D'antoni very solid.   But if we get swept in the first round with a mostly healthy roster after such a season I'll say that D'antoni is a solid regular season coach but still not a playoff coach.

obviously,

I feel like this, Lakers fans have to understand that the Lakers built two teams within one superstar's career that were incredible. the Shaq-Kobe team went to 4 finals in 5 years and won 3, The Kobe-Pau teams went to 3 Finals in 2 years and won 2

Dirk got one.

This LeBron-D-Wade is as good as the kobe-pau team thus far, and as our team aged out, we have to adjust.

i think we have had our run of bad luck in some ways, and now after hitting a certain rock bottom, we will start to project upwards.

it's like San Antoni when they lost in the 1st round as a 1 seed to an 8. they got better and better from there.

i believe in this organization and who is the next Shannon Brown, Ariza or Earl Clark?

Kobe's WILL alone is a POWERFUL asset in this game, and if you believe in energy and the basketball gods, then you know what I'm talking about.

phil was BIg on basketball karma. I think the organization gets GOOD karma after Dwight leaves and after the Kobe injury and so on. All the injuries last season, it was too much hype, then anxiety then negative energy.

haters and Fans caused last year wih the energy that was being focused, but watch how things change from here on out.

I feel angry.  I don't care what was posted in the first 14 pages of this topic, actually.  I'm pissed that we drafted Ryan Kelly for Nash and MDA, and that we still have...MDA.

If we make the playoffs, it's because we had to overwork Kobe once again.  You truly think this team will contend without Dwight Howard?

Kobe Bryant is my favorite player, and I have even argued that he is the greatest offensive player in NBA history...and maybe a better overall player than MJ, removing all accomplishments...but Kobe leading this particular team into contention, after the severe injury he just suffered due to being pushed to exhaustion excessively, would be one of the greatest moments in sports history.

Oh [expletive], totally forgot we had this guy.

Who needs Dwight, haha. We got Ryan Kelly.

I love Kobe as much as anyone. Lakers win but Kobe has a pedestrian game and its not as fulfilling as when Kobe goes off. It's entertaining when he has that bounce in his step.

Kobe got 5. That's up there with the GOATs of all time.

In my humble opinion, just because Kobe has a minute chance of winning a title doesn't mean his career is being robbed.

If Kobe wants to ring chase, he will.

Personally, some of this is Kobe's fault. In 2010 when Magic asked him about the LeBron train that was headed to greatness, he said he just wanted "one more cookie". One more ring that he got and since that's what he put in the universe, the results have been just that.

As I posted before, the basketball gods are real.

He looks nice, he might be a great addition to this team if he is capable of knocking down wipe open 3s with ease.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

I hope he has a good year. Guys like him deserve to succeed in the league. And if he does well, we have a young player to carry with us with the 2014 draft pick(hopefully a high one).

Judging from the picture, it's the truth.

He's been bench pressing 280-lbs of donuts.

"You watch anime?"

- "Yeah, I just got into it! Just recently, I just started watching Attack on Ti-"

"Get away from me, pleb."

If he had a double digit number, his uni and his donut arms wouldn't look so suspect.
