This thread is unbelievably stupid. The OP is actually writing it like someone reported it, which no one even remotely did. The logic is the same that if Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant were having some issues, we'd see a thread titled, "Russell Westbrook a possible target for the Lakers."

Although I will say "unbelievably stupid" is a little too harsh for my liking personally, but yes, the point is this is nothing but pure speculation from fans, no legitimate sources or anything concrete like that connected to this whatsoever.

Lol horrible attempt at comparing the two situations. Btw, the Lakers were linked to Rondo in the past. I don't believe anything like this goes down, so for now I'm just going along with the idea. It's the offseason, not much to talk about. Go right ahead and start making some non-stupid threads if you please. Otherwise, don't bother to comment.

not at all. that's not even close. all he said was rondo is having issues in boston do you think the lakers will try to acquire him. he never said anything more. it's a legitimate discussion. he never said there was a link between the two teams. just because you don't like the thread doesn't make it stupid. this thread is no different than the lebron 2014 thread, or the paul george thread which have minimal evidence and have just about the same chance of happening

It's not just that.

The Celtics seem they are rebuilding. If we are going to stick with D'Antoni, you need a point guard that can facilitate, and that is what Rondo does. We have some pieces to move, but we will need a third and possibly a fourth team to get involved. Kobe admires and has respect for Rondo. Like previously mentioned, the 2014 class is slightly overrated. LeBron is not coming here. Melo is likely to re-sign with the Knicks. We've all seen how Rondo makes his teammates better, and how he gets them the ball to their spots. With Rondo, not only do you get an elite playmaker, but you get arguably the best defensive point guard in the league.

I am not a source nor a reporter, but with our situation here in LA, and what Boston is trying to do, we can work out a possibility that can meet both of our needs. Clippers just got a hell lot of better. This is there town . Yes, I am serious. Fans need to take off their homer glasses off and realize they are the team in LA at the moment. The Lakers still own the town, but Clippers currently have the spotlight.

Celtics' Rajon Rondo headed to Lakers?

rondo-rajon2.jpg

The Los Angeles Lakers are in need of a point guard and the word is that the team wouldn't mind doing a deal with the Boston Celtics to land Rajon Rondo

As I always say without spot up / catch & shoot reliable shooters, PGs like Rondo dont make this a TItle Threat Team. Yes he takes a huge load of Kobes hands but it doesnt change anything greatly other than that.

^ No way. Forum would instantly lose way too much activity. Not enough people consistently helping in that regard.
