im not a lebron hater or anything but damn he sure goes around gloating about a championship like no one else does

kobe would never come close to doing something like that. neither would d-wade, tim duncan, nowitzki, paul pierce, rondo etc....

Who cares if he is gloating or what ever, he won and he can do what he wants. If kobe did this, I bet everyone would be like its cool for him to do it

No, for Lebron it probably would've been ok his first time around. But at this point act like you've been here before. It is ok to address people and make jokes because he warrants alot of scrutiny (granted some is self-inflicted) but a 4 time MVP and multiple champion. In a similar scenario I am sure Kobe would have a few snarky comments on the sly or flat out say something rude but at least direct, I couldn't picture him, Duncan, Nowitzki (had a lot of haters himself), Pierce doing online videos with this kind of stuff, they would just say something straight and leave it at that.

The bad part is I can picture players like Griffin, Melo, and Harden saying something like this, says alot about the new generation. Im' not hating on Lebron, like I said, he can do it, it is amusing but at this point after all this time and you act like that. This is why people wanted him to lose, he can't graciously act like a winner, he has to boast about it like this.

If anything because Lebron is a media darling he gets away with this, because if Kobe or any other proven veteran were to do this, they would be blasted with immaturity and egotistical comments.

^ To be fair though, that wasn't directed towards haters. Different context.

^ Exactly. Lebron is still as immature as he has always been. Dancing, doing kid and play on the sidelines etc, just childish. Kobe has been hated on a lot over the yrs. I'm sure Duncan hears that people find him boring. Or Pau and Dirk being called soft. You respond on the court, not with all the extracurricular activity. Criticism is the name of the game, you know what to expect going in, and a little maturity would go a long way.

Who cares?

The guy gets hate from everywhere, he can have fun with it.

Like someone said, if it was Kobe, you would all be praising him regardless of any explanation you might have to why that's not true.

Kobe was one of the most arrogant, egotistical young players the league had ever seen and he is still like that in many ways. He was far worse than LeBron was.

The thing is, Kobe wouldn't feel the need to do it, even at his cockiest, simply because those people don't matter to him enough for him to address them.

When Raja Bell clotheslined Kobe, Kobe said it was a hard play but that he doesn't want to know the kid(Bell) but was fine afterwards.

LeBron would have said "they are trying to hurt me"

They have two completely different mentalities and no matter how Kobe was, he wouldn't have done it, because of class, regardless of how cocky he was.

That said, I don't think LeBron was serious and poking fun at people that can't stand him.

Kobe never would feel the need to do it for any kind of gratification cause winning would be enough.

Just the two completely different personalities at work.

No more no less.   Some just prefer the way Kobe would go about it over how LBJ did.

To me this isn't nearly as big a deal if at all as comparing something like LeBron's love of flopping as opposed to MJ or Kobe's anti-flop stance. That is far greater & utter disgrace.

This is why Michael and Kobe will ALWAYS be better than Lebron James.  You will never see Kobe or Michael address haters like this.  Kobe have a lot of haters. When was the last time you see Kobe do this with all his championships?

Kobe, MJ > Lebron   case close.  you lebron fans need to stfu

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.
