Poor T-Mac. He did not deserve this. If only Pop would've used him for once. What a shame.

I'm sure you guys have heard already that T-Mac was considering retirement after these Finals so I think it's safe to assume, especially the way things ended, this'll probably be it for him.

Props to him though for never going down Iverson's path and being humble enough to accept lesser roles as his career started diminishing.

Maybe T-Mac cursed the Spurs?

I doubt it though, the guy gave us some of the best quotes throughout these Finals. So humble, so classy. That was refreshing to see.

Yup, must suck for him. The guy was a superstar at one point but was shaking hands out there after the game as if he was some rookie. Humble guy but it was probably killing him inside.

I wish Pop would have played him over Manu the last 2 games

^ Couldn't have hurt too much to try just for at least a few minutes, see how it goes, especially considering just how horrid Manu was of course.

Yeah but sadly Pop aint the guy that would give a end of the bench guy a chance.

If Splitter is sucking he'll keep going to Splitter instead of putting in Blair.

If Ginobli is sucking he'll keep going to Ginobli instead of giving T-Mac a shot.

Pop is the epitome of being stuck in his ways.

That's why the Spurs have always been "almost" for the past 6-7 years.

Yea saying the league is filled with little boys and how he was so good and should have won a ton of champiosnhips is so humble.

No, I don't feel bad for him. He didn't contribute anything, he was barely even with the team. I'm not saying I don't want him to get a ring though, I just don't feel bad for him.

He said he would compete for championships if I remember correctly. How many ex-superstars do you know that would just be fine with being on the bench? Also remember that this guy wasn't any superstar and he lead the league in scoring. So IMO it was a pretty humble move on his part.

As for the league is filled with little boys..well he is right. Back then you had Ewing, Barkley, the bad boys, Oakley, Robinson, Shaq, Mutumbo...

Don't feel bad for him in the slightest.

Confused as to why any of you are so damn attached to a player of such mediocrity and overblown ego.
