I think we are still uncertain about Howard returning and  I'm not sure you want Sacre or Jordan Hill starting next season.

So , if Bynum were willing to do a one year deal, would you take a chance on him returning to the level he played for with the Lakers.

Let's say a one year incentive based deal, for games played and a team buyout clause if injuries become a problem.

He hasn't played basketball in a year and is coming off injury.

I think we dealt with this last year :)

If Bynum could somehow stay healthy long enough to get back around to his form he still wouldn't be back to "himself" till around February or March and that's if he would be able to remain healthy through training camp till then with only a few hiccups in between.

Somehow I am not sure that would happen.

I thought we didn't want anymore injuries on this team.

We could use Drew. Definitely. Hes tall and long with a great reach. Bynum back with the Lakers organization would be poetic Justice. We just need a new and more supportive knee brace designed. Then Drew would be the perfect man to wipe down the top of the backboard and clean the high parts of the lockers to prevent dust and scum build up.

Nope, but even if we did, we can only offer the mini-MLE...and I doubt Bynum will sign with any team for $3 million.  Someone will take a chance on him for much more than that, even though it won't be for a max deal.

I'd rather give Greg Oden a chance.
