Do any of you think the offside rule in soccer will ever be eliminated & also, would you personally like to see it removed?

I know there's a ton of people who would love to see it be removed, including many deeply involved in the sport, not just fans, but from my understanding, currently and for a while now, the heads at FIFA are a bunch of old dudes mostly who are too old-fashioned and refuse to open up their minds to the possibility, but who's to say perhaps maybe a newer generation eventually will change that rule of thought.

Can you imagine how much more popular soccer could and probably would be? Obviously, it's the most popular sport in the world overall already, but specifically here in the U.S., I think it would sky-rocket tremendously. So many more goals would be scored, so much more excitement, so much more action.

No, because it would greatly diminish the game especially on the mens side.

As a coach myself, the offsides call is a good rule, it's frustrating at times when you get an official who doesn't call it consistently but it's a rule that should stay in place.

No way,the forwards would camp in front of the goalie, game would lost its dynamics.

It's a good rule,as we are free to watch football genius kicking long passes to those speedy forwards who wait for the right moment and then sprint behind the opponent's last line of defense. You think there would be more goals,I think less. It would change the whole tactics, possibly in the boring way.

Without offside, the game would not have sense, trust me.

It should always be there. Stops cherry picking and makes the game more tactful. Im can see the reason why some would want it out since more goals would seem to happen.

No. Because the likes of Walcott, Miyaichi, Robben, Abate would absolutely destroy the game. lol. Having Pirlo too with his precise long passing would just be totally unfair.

i would like to see more goals... and you think NBA flops are bad? watch soccer... if they can some how fix that.. soccer would be more popular in the U.S of A. Letting the players be physical too would be great

Offside rule is needed
Imagine all the campers that would appear if the rule was eliminated
