Assuming Dwight resigns.  How would a trade for Bargnani, Terrence Ross and Linas Kleiza look?  While I'm not a fan of Bargnani due to the obvious reasons he is still a highly talented big that seems to just need a change of scenery.  Terrence Ross and decently talented wing that could be a solid 2guard to spell Kobe and possibly be a solid starter for the future and Kleiza a throw in to make it work but can produce off the bench if he can stay healthy.

I'd be weary of Bargnani motor and health but I think he can become a gamechanger next to Dwight and with less pressure to living up to being the #1 pick and playing Center.  Thoughts?

I know Ross was a lottery pick but seeing that Bargnani is a player that they are hell bent on getting rid of, the Raptors will need something that will sweeten the trade.

I'm against anything that puts Bargnani anywhere near a Laker uniform.

He's that awful

If people hate Pau's defense, Bargnani would make Pau look like..well Dwight..by comparison.

The Toronto Raptors were actually a better team without him last year and were only a losing team when he played...that speaks volumes.

No on the Bargnani.

Dude is too injury prone, horrible stretch 4, and can barely rebound.

Kwame would actually be a nice defensive center coming off the bench for Dwight in reality    Guy may not be able to do anything else but he is still one of the better post defenders in the game. Least last time I checked he still was.   Then again I think the forums would crash if the Lakers signed Kwame back      Next thing you know Luke Walton will be our new Jamison

Bargnani was bad last season, but at his best, he is a very good offensive player.

But I would only take AB, if DD came along.

I'd take Ross over Derozan honestly.  SG that can't shoot 3's that aren't named D Wade just dont sit well with me.  Then the fact he's making 10 mil a year is hard to swallow if you are taking a chance on Bargnani in the process.

Im aware Bargnani looked awful this past season but he's shown before injury that he can produce well.  Put him in an environment where he is next to the best defensive C and rebounder and around players that can produce wins you may get a different type of guy.

The sweet part of the trade is a young swing man.  I can't say this is a sure thing for LA but they should seriously consider this move if Dwight resigns.

Here is the only way I'd take Bargnani.

For the vets minimum after the Raptors amnesty him

Love his shooting and driving to the basket but doesn't rebound and a terrible defender. Only way I accept him if he gets his ass down low and rebound and defend but looks like that is not going to happen because obviously he doesnt want to

Bargs and Pau are two completely different types of players...different styles, positions, careers, skill sets...
