We are off to Kentucky in July. We got accepted into fright fest, a pretty major film festival and convention.

Looks like we might be in several other ones too!

Anyway, back to the topic.

Anything written by Stephen King. The Shining is iconic. I liked his TV movies too. The Stand and Storm of the Century were cool (non reader perspective).<br /><br />Shaun of the dead<br />Gremlins(big fan)<br />Zombieland<br /><br />I could watch them on a loop.

i actually saw a lot of the classics much much later, my childhood was mostly random vampire movies, werewolf movies and a [expletive] load of goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark

 

exorcist i saw when i was 10, nightmare on elm street and all those others ones you guys have mentioned including childs play i saw in my late teens

The Halloween and Nightmare On Elm Street remakes were atrocious films.

 

Cabin In The Woods was a really fun film.  A nice middle finger and tribute to all horror films at once.  Did not expect to like it as much as I do.

That was a hell of a movie. It had to be the best WTF did I just watch movie.

No sure if it counts but Pandorum was a pretty good one. I mean its more of a Sci fi thriller but the story was great I thought and had a hell of an ending.
