No,they ran at Meeks. Meeks is a shooter.

It's not like Artest in 2011-2012 when they LITERALLY left him open. He is a 35% 3 point shooter, which is FINE.

Meeks can contribute. If u SAW all the games, you would know that.

In fact, we kinda sucked when Meeks was OUT of the rotation completely.

Jamison,Meeks,ClarkBlake all played well when out there.

Hill is still a good player.

You need someone to replace Duhon(useless) and Ebanks(?)

I would give Sacre another year or two , because he's a 7 footer and a great team guy.

I would get rid of Metta and replace him with an Ariza-type.

Period

Hope Dwight is fully BACK to the guy he has been his entire career, and hope whjat we saw from Him and Pau was something they can build upon. Hope Nash holds up enough and that Kobe can still be a highly effective player.

Or you watch the end of one of the GREATEST EVER, and appreciate how much energy he has expended over a 17 year + career and you appreciate the last moments of the greatest player that may EVER grace a Laker uniform, Kobe Bryant.

Of course he can, but not enough nor consistently.

Seriously, Will Bynum? He can be some energy off the bench, but that's about it i think. He is the size of a child and wont help on the defensive end or with floor spacing. But for the vet minimum, i'd take him.

With Jamison gone (likely) we need some points off the bench.

Amnestying Duhon would save us about 4 million, which is good for a 4th guy at the Point..

If Bynum signs with the Lakers, Blake most likely play at the 2. However, not picking up Meeks option isnt that easy, dont forget Kobe is still injured.. I would take the 1.5 million that we owe to Meeks over playing Morris at the backup 2..

Our key thing is to find a guy at the perimeter who can be effective at both ends to start over Metta ..

Bynum/Blake/Metta/Clark/Hill is not bad, knowing that Howard or Gasol would play with the 2nd unit and move hill to the 4..

Kinda digging deep, but the main point is to find a guy at the 3..

A couple of points:

Duhons contract is only partially (1.5 million) guaranteed, so he can be waived which will save 2.2 million.

Dorrell Wright is to me the guy I think we should go after. He’s from LA and will be the starting 3, he can shoot and he isn’t a defensive liability. The question is whether he is willing to take the mini-midlevel. If he took a two-year 3/yr deal he could re-sign for a bit more in the summer of 2015?

Will Bynum would be nice, but only for the vets min.

We wouldn't have to amnesty Duhon.  We can just waive him.

Thanks for the correction ... but does it mean waiving him is only for the amount guaranteed ?

We can't amnesty Duhon but we can amnesty Blake.

Thats would be a bad move though. He has decent trade value being that his play was steller at the end of the season.

Not sure if this is something to be excited about.  Pretty much any PG in the league not named Darius Morris, GLock or Duhon could probably help this team.  Personally I'd rather see them check out Delonte West assuming he's in shape and got his head together.

Getting will bynum is a great move. It gets us a more consistant back up pg and then allows us to trade balek for another decent bench player or we could just stick blake at the back up SG position. Though I would prefer trading blake due to injurys he has been having and the fact that I highly doubt hew will continue his high level of play that he had at the end of the season.

So did Jeremy Lin and countless other avg PGs.  Begs the question as to why he didnt do that more often.  Bynum is a 30 yr old PG that has no jumper and has never avg more than 26 MPG due to injuries on the team.  We need other [expletive] in place before he is a piece to get excited about
