Join host Jimmy Kimmel on August 15th as he sits down with Kobe to talk about his past, present and future. Unlike postgame interviews and press conferences, fans will get the chance to see another side of Kobe as he answers questions and recounts some of his favorite stories. All proceeds from the event support the important efforts of the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center's Sports Spectacular. Additionally, for any donation that is made when purchasing tickets, you will be entered to win a "seat upgrade" at the event.

i'll be there...

I saw it on TV, it was really captivating. Pretty emotional when Jimmy asked Kobe if there was one player he could add to the Lakers roster, and Kobe responded with Derek Fisher. "We started together, why not end it together?" I paraphrased by the way.

Kobe seemed really adamant on not coaching in the future. He'd consider being the owner of the Lakers franchise, but that probably won't happen.

It was exciting to watch. Every now and then they'd show the audience, and I saw Jeanie, Jim, Terrel Owens, Wesley Johnson, etc.

What a great night that was, it was so cool watching Kobe and Jimmy Kimmel. My favorite moment was when Kobe telling Jimmy that the Clippers didn't want to draft him and Kimmel's response: "The Clippers are known for making great decisions" lol best quote of the night. Top it off I ran into Jim Hill and Lakers spokesman John Black at Katsuya in LA Live. They were so nice.

Great Interview. Damn Kobe was leaning towards North Carolina not Duke. and what Dave Cowens said to the 17 year old Kobe was [expletive]ed up.
