His athleticism and all around game may be in a major decline, but at least he can still run his mouth like no one else.

It's a shame that he can't back up anything he says anymore.

Well the statement on how to guard LeBron is reversed but he's half right on it.

The problem is he doesn't do what he says to do in that video when he's actually guarding LeBron.

It's not his decline in athleticism that is the reason he can't defend LeBron, it's the fact that he isos and plays him too close, if he took some space when defending him like Leonard or Green does he actually would do much better.

The way Metta WANTS to defend LeBron is the way that would have been effective in Metta's hayday when he was bigger, stronger and faster.

The problem is, he can't do that anymore, so he shouldn't attempt to defend LeBron the way he would if he was the Ron from 5 years ago or even 3 years ago.   He should attempt to give him space on it and play to the sides, you give LeBron the space and then react to what he attempts to do.    But if you play him on his hip it's what he wants anyway.

Metta should take his own advice on guarding LeBron.

MWP forgot that lebrick is now a post player and drive/pick and roll player.

Thus far in the finals LeBron has apparently forgotten that too

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."
