Don't kid yourselves...this means they are interested in playing together and if works out that they can both get paid at the same time, I think they will.

Yes...

Dwight will leave more money on the table to play with CP3...and who could blame him?

If the Rockets play their cards right, they could be BIG winners this offseason...

Then I remember that it would be impossible unless the Lakers signed and traded Howard to Houston after Houston had signed Chris Paul, and then also that Harden and Parsons wouldn't be there if we did a Sign and Trade scenario as we wouldn't give them Dwight for nothing.

Then I'd realize that the Rockets would have used up all their cap space and have no money whatsoever to improve and their bench would be the worst in the league, in a western conference where 6 teams would be deeper than them and then I'd laugh as they were eliminated in the first round :bounce:

So I don't imagine it for very long.

With back loaded contracts the Rockets got in Harden, Asik and Lin... It would be tough to get both unless they sign and trade... Each of them are making 14+ mil. They'd have to trade most of their bench and denounce, Brooks, Garcia, Delfino... Everybody not named Parsons... And they only got one draft pick. Even if they do pull it off, they need a third team to help out.... Right?

The only way they get together with Harden at Houston is if the Lakers or Clippers do a S&T with the Rockets for Dwight or CP3. The other is if they are able to trade Lin, Asik and Robinson to teams under the cap that can absorb their salaries and send back nothing back other than picks or TPE. They have options to make it happen but it will not be easy to do. Not impossible but will take a bit of slick work from the Rockets FO.

Unless their entire starting lineup gets injured along with 3 of their bench players and McHale is fired and replaced by Dunleavy it will be nothing like what happened to us.

Touché, but what I meant was, be kicked out in the first round.

It's probably the best you could get for Dwight and if he wants to leave, why not try to get something back you can use in the future.

Griffin is a top 5 PF in the league and Bledsoe would be the perfect defensive-minded pg to back up Nash and if the alternative is to lose Dwight for nothing, i think this should be considered.

Griffin is overrated ..

Yeah, he is. But he is better than seeing D12 walk for nothing and he has the physical and mental tools to be really good. Also, the list of players you’d take ahead of him if you had to build a team from scratch is pretty short. Which PFs are better than Griffin?
