Good to know for the Lakers since Nate McMillian interviewed for them

Damn, fecal matter just got real. All that stacked roster needed was a star coach and they got it now. Pistons will be scary. Book it.

Well,

MT @deryNBA: Source: It's 3-year contract for Cheeks. Not sure if team option for 4th. I am checking on it. Iguodala could be FA target

Seriously though, so many of these teams around the league so far away (understatement) from being taken seriously. League's just full of too many literally joke teams. It's a travesty.

Detroit has a nice little core...

Monroe and Drummond.. With Brendan knight...

3 young players under 24 ...

They got cap space coming up...
They could just tank the season for wiggens or Parker... Get themselves a quality sf...

They also got a couple moveable assists...

Detroit could be better soon... You know...

Mo Cheeks wasn't even a good coach with Philly and Port, or at least I don't remember him winning. The constant recycling of NBA coaches is weak, give other aspiring asistants, film editors, tv broadcasters, fresh retirees the chance.

And Igoudala would make them all better with his passing and ability to find people.

He does well with young teams, but I'm not so sure he's the right guy to bring them to a championship level.

Good coach to begin the building process with though - and a quality human being.
