I like the Spurs. I like watching them play. I like seeing Pops work.

When the Lakers get eliminated, I take off my Laker goggles and watch all teams and try to learn new things about the game from the rest of the league.

Also, I hope Lebron never wins another rings. I hope he stays at 1 and the debate between Kobe, Jordan, or whoever against Lebron becomes a lost cause.

That sounds like Miami to me.

When I take my lakers goggles off (which is kind of hard since I bleed purple and gold so deep in went into my eyes)  and watch the Spurs play, it just makes me even more mad.  The way they play team defense makes me look at the coach the lakers having right now as more of a virus that we cannot get rid of.  Such a sad state for the Lakers seeing teams like that playing how championship teams supposed to play. Imagine if the Spurs have two hall of fame centers like we do the damaged they can do with a coach who knows how to coach.  What a waste. It all goes back to how stupid the move is to get MDA

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Think of it this way guys

who has the better chance to get to ring number 6   Kobe or Duncan

if dwight resigns and the lakers

if kobe comes back strong

lakers get younger and healthy

Kobe will have the better chance to get ring number 6

This will be Duncans last attempt

Trust me guys you dont want lebron winning his 2nd ring because they will overrate this so much but even if they win this year

the likely hood of them winning next year or even getting to the finals is very slim because that would be there 4th trip to the finals in a row and no team has done that in over 20years with success

Duncan is the clear choice no questions asked

I agree that the two finals losses will look bad on him, but I'm sure ESPN will flip it to compare with Jordan even more. "Michael had his Detroit demons early in his career" "LeBron had his Spurs demons early in his career"

It would be three finals losses if LeBron lost.

He's 1-2 thus far.

Why because Spurs are old?  This is the most misconception thing ever. They made it sound like the Miami heat is not an old team. In fact, Miami heat I believe have a much older roster than the Spurs. The media really made you think the Spurs have an old roster when in reality only Duncan and Ginoboli is old.  Last I check 30 is not old and that is Tony Parker. How old is Lebron? 27 28?  Dwayne Wade is old and so is Chris Bosh who plays old.  ANd look at their backup. Mike MIller? Old! Ray Allen? Angient! Battier? OLD!  Oh yea and they have one of the oldest dude in the league right now name Juwan Howard.  So I dont understand why people make it sound like the Spurs the old team and the Heat is the young team.  The most misconception EVER!!

In the medias narrative Bron winning his second chip is the equivalent to MJs 6. GO TIMMY!

I'm more comfortable with Dwight Howard running on the court and closelining Duncan and then taking off his pedestrians shirt and revealing a Miami Heat jersey underneath it, and then as LeBron, Wade and Bosh are celebrating Dwight starts to closeline them, and then Kobe jumps from the crowd with a steel chair and smashing LeBron over the head with it, and then Wade and then Bosh and then taking off his medical mamba shoes showing that he's 100% healed and then Dwight tears off the Heat jersey revealing a Lakers jersey underneath it and him and Kobe stand triumphantly over them all while holding up a Future 2013-2014 NBA Champions sign while "I love LA" plays over the speaker system as the finals game goes off air till the beginning of next season.

Maybe that's just my pro wrestling mind taking over X_X  But it would be a heck of a lot more entertaining than the finals currently! ;)

The Spurs being old as been a misconception for a very long time.  The have some old players on there roster, but their core is young.

The really only old players they have are Duncan, Manu, Bonnor, and Diaw. (I'm not counting TMAC haha)

I don't think many people realize that Tony Parker is only 31 which I still believe is young.  Only 6 of the 15 players on their roster are over 29 years of age.  Although they are ranked the 7th oldest team.  The Miami heat are ranked 2nd and Lakers ranked 4th oldest.

If the Spurs win the championship at least in some way went through the Lakers.

Not rooting for or against players, I look at teams.  if the Spurs win it all, I'm more than fine with that.

Spurs. Can't stand either one, but at least I respect San Antonio. Duncan may match Kobe in rings, but Kobe shatters the competition in individual accomplishments, so not worried about that argument. Duncan is nearing the end, Lebron is in his prime. Every year that passes without Lebron winning a ring is a blessing from the basketball gods.
