Don't see who else the Grizz could get to better fit their personel. Unless Doc wants to coach in Memphis, I can't think of a coach on the market who could utilize Marc and Company the way he did.

George Karl maybe?

Brooklyn Nets, according to NBA coaching sources, have today formally requested permission to interview Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins

He should go to the Clippers or Brooklyn. More talent & depth on both those teams overall than in Memphis. They just need his toughness, defensive mentality, & true passion instilled in them.

Clippers have more talent just bad coach but what makes you think that Nets have more talent?

^ I think you might've misread what I posted. I tried to clearly say both Brooklyn and the Clippers have better talent & depth overall than Memphis, not that one of the two was superior to the other. Although I do stand by what I also said earlier that I believe if it's between those two teams, I think he should go with Brooklyn because they have more guys that can bang down low imo and are that grit & grind type of players that he likes plus very importantly, they're in the East, which is WAY easier to say the least than the West (if he were to choose the Clippers).

This would be a really stupid move by Memphis upper management. Makes no sense.

Sources: George Karl's status in air

Denver Nuggets coach George Karl's status has become "unsettled" following the departure of general manager Masai Ujiri for the Toronto Raptors, two sources close to the situation said late Saturday night.

Read the whole article. Just another article with a writer trying to stir up attention with his title.

Karl, who was named the NBA's coach of the year following the Nuggets' 57-win season, is not in any imminent danger of losing his job, the sources stressed

i'd take hollins over MDA. At least he knows how to use big guys. A healthy Dwight and Pau > Marc and Randolph.

I agree he knows how to use his big guys and double post, I was just saddened that it looked as inept as we did against the Spurs.

But I think that has to do with the fact they have no real consistent perimeter threat, theirs was because of team structure, ours was due to injury.

if the Grizzlies had a consistent perimeter threat they'd have probably done a little better.

Yeah the Rudy Gay trade hurt them a lot.

So many quality coaches out there, yet we are stuck with MDA, who is nothing but a clown.

But man, you win coach if the year - gone
Take your team to the WCF - gone

The hell is going on?

Crazy, but it was seemingly just a matter of time now. He should pick Brooklyn over the Clippers and Denver. East is much easier than the West overall.

The saddest thing of all.
