If I was the Lakers GM I would look at Golden State for a trade if D12 wants to leave.

First of all, if I was the GM, D12 probably not thinking of leaving because I will not hesitate to get rid of MDA.  But apparently Mike D Antoni have Jim Buss by the balls so even if Lebron calls up Jim Buss and asked to get rid of MDA, Lakers probably still keep MDA for some stupid reason.

Anyway, so if D12 doesn't want to stay here I would seriously thinking about doing a sign in trade for him. Obviously D12 have the upper hand. He have to b willing to do the trade. It does seem like he are also interested in Golden State. And if D12 wants to be a good sport and leave in good terms, he atleast do that as a favor.  Golden State got a couple of expiring contract we can get.  Plus there is a potential of getting Klay Thompson.  Klay to me is an upcoming superstar in the making. Kobe and play a three which he loves to do anway.  Klay is the future for the lakers in the 2 position.  And with all the cap room in 2014, we can get a supertar to join klay.  What do you guys think? You guys willing to get some Golden State warriors players?  Harrison Barn is a beast also.   Golden State said they would love to have Dwight up there. Even if they lose Klay.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

a misconception that I had prior to reading last weeks hoopsworld chat with Larry Coon.  Per his column, any team over the cap can sign and trade a player....contingent on them receiving players that are not signed and traded.

Lol. The Lakers can actually do a sign-and-trade -just not to a team that's over the cap.
