The NBA has issued fines of $5,000 to LeBron James, David West and Lance Stephenson for violating its anti-flopping policy.

James and West were penalized for the same play in Game 4.

Stephenson was fined for exaggerating contact after an elbow from Ray Allen.

LeBron James fined for flopping?? We're still on earth, right?

At this point they're just doing it because they can. It's a shameless mockery of the rules. There's no honor in it.

freaking embaressing...

how can the nba people like LeBron...

LeBron and the heat are ruining the NBA with flopping

the nba needs to get flopping in order for next season...

hand out fines like candy...

fines double each time... big suspensions...

both west and LeBron should be suspended the rest of the playoffs for that embaressing flop

Of all the flops that have been fined this post season, LeBron's was the worst. He plays and acts like a tough guy, and goes hard every play, but he flops to any contact "to gain an advantage". Embarrassing.

Just like MJ and other guys...they didn't flop but they did anything necessary to "win".

Until they start handing out suspensions for flopping, this will continue.  As you already saw by that Tweet above, LeBron earns close to $5,000 before he even thinks about breaking a sweat.

Nobody wants to lose $5,000 it doesn't matter how rich you are. Squeezing a dollar out of someone "wealthy" is a lot more harder than from some average joe.

I kinda disagree with West's fine, not because it wasn't a flop as well, but because of the specific circumstance & situation that led him to do it. Basically by LeBron starting his first, it kinda pressured West into pulling one himself. If he had not countered with one of his own, from a distance to the refs and in that quick of time without replay, they probably would've been more likely to buy that West did do something to LeBron to get him on the floor. IN that regard, how can you blame him? I mean just pure common sense, a flop is more likely to be sold if one guy instead of the two is seen dramatically flailing or falling. When it's two, from the refs perspective and in quick-time, it's a lot less likely it looks as though there's been some sort of foul or violation.

I hope I'm not the only one who sees this here.

5 grand is like a nice dinner out for Lebron. Thats nothing.  He will continue to be a flobber.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Bron makes 5 grand every minute he is on the court, doesnt matter to him. Im sure he doesnt want to lose it, but we all know if it gives his team the advantage he is gonna do it, many players will gladly hand over a bunch of money if it gets their team help in close play off games.

but you are trying to compare LeBron's actions to theirs to justify his flopping. There is no need for flopping like this in NBA. Stop trying to make excuses for LeFlop.

WHY DO YOU THINK THIS TOPIC WAS CREATED BY ME IN THE FIRST PLACE??
