The Charlotte Bobcats have reached an agreement in principle to hire Los Angeles Lakers assistant Steve Clifford as head coach, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

Our only defensive coach left!

Since he came with Howard so to speak, I wonder if it will have any impact on DHs decision..

Interesting..

Fine with me, less people to let go when D'Antoni gets booted.

We're getting rid of the people Dwight actually liked.. yay. Dwight needs to give us an ultimatum - him or D'Antoni so we can fire his ass already.

Shouldn't be fine with you IMO.

Last guy that had ties with Dwight is now gone.

He's the last guy with ties to Dwight but wouldn't he have likely left this off-season anyway if he got the same coaching attention he's gotten this off-season?  I'm not so sure much would have kept him here anyway once the head coaching positions started calling in, nothing short of a championship anyway would have kept him here imo.

We have a defensive coach?

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.
