“I would love to work him out and also serve as his agent,” Theismann said in a phone interview Saturday with FOX Sports Florida. “I’ll go wherever he wants this summer. He could play another four years in the NBA before seriously trying the NFL. … There are not a lot of 38- or 39-year-old basketball players, but there are 38- and 39-year-old quarterbacks, so there’s always time for him.”

They asked Bron if he could have been a QB in the NFL if he wanted to be.

“I think so,” said James, who played quarterback on the freshman team at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio, in 1999 before shifting to wide receiver on the varsity in 2000 and 2001. As a senior in 2002, James chose to concentrate on basketball. “I have the ability. I can see and read plays. I study a lot, so I know defenses and things of that nature. So I would have been pretty good if I had decided to go for it.”

Not QB. A big ass TE maybe or a 43 defensive end. No whistle benefits though

Pau Gasol is GONE

He wouldn't get those either. You gotta be a pretty boy like Tom Brady to influence the refs

Very true unless of course he could adapt, but based on what you pointed out & what we see, that's not for certain.

QB is impossible.. Thiesman is nuts.

TE is improbable too. You have to learn how to be an offensive lineman and a wide receiver..

I want some of what Thiesman is smoking.. It's obviously pretty good. ;)

There are probably lots of guys in the NFL who don't like LeBron. A lot of us would pay to see a 36+ year old LeBron get smashed by one of these guys.

My grandpa was talking to my cousin who has met lebron plenty of times and hung out with him and he said lebron is one of the dumbest people he's ever met. I find dumb QB's dont last long in the NFL.

^ I'm just trying to help a fellow member out. Honestly, I speak from too good of experience seeing fido specifically go at people for what most like yourself would deem somewhat harmless. Not trying to talk badly of him, just pointing out a factual observation based on several instances. He has far less of a tolerance level on what is deemed "crossing the line" so to speak than any other moderator.
