Tim Duncan is reportedly going through divorce proceedings with his wife Amy.

Court papers filed last week include a request that legal discovery in the case be postponed until after the Spurs' last playoff game.

The Duncans met at Wake Forest when Tim was on the basketball team and Amy was a cheerleader.

Amy initiated the divorce proceedings on March 27.

Richard Orsinger represented Tony Parker in his divorce from Evan Longoria in 2010.

Talk about bad timing.

it takes a cold person to file for divorce knowing their spouse is focusing all his energy on a monumental life goal (like winning a NBA Chip). Seriously she couldn't wait 3-4 more weeks. Even if the feeling is mutual, just move and and wait out of respect for him.

I realize it says the stuff about the paper work being done "after....but still...just wait to start.

Even in bed he is boring.

but all joking aside, this shows how hard it is to have a good marriage when you are a professional athlete. If Tim Dunken, probably one of the nicest dude in the NBA get a divorce, it shows how basketball wives are not meant for the long hall.   Example with the "basketball wives" tv show.  None of those skanks are with their so called basketball husbands.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Sadly, women can be extremely emotional, and often allow those emotions to govern their decision making.  When wronged they can be petty and spiteful and the idea of acting respectfully doesn't enter their minds.

The game changes, the players turnover, but the Mamba remains a constant!
