I was thinking it may be something along the lines of this

If Kobe announces he and his wife are having another baby, I am going to BBQ a kobe steak for dinner...

First established in 1986, Sports Spectacular brings the nation’s top athletes together with leading members of the community to support the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Over the last 27 years, the event has recognized some of the greatest athlete and sports personalities of all time, including Muhammad Ali, Magic Johnson, Wayne Gretzky, and David Beckham. This year’s honorees include Hope Solo, Adrian Peterson, Jason Collins, and a special tribute to Dr. Jerry Buss.

I'm hoping if its not a video on how hes coming back sooner or healing well that its a pay cut or amnesty to help the team financially

A pay cut is impossible. An amnesty won't help the team get any better. You lose Kobe for a season and are still over the tax, so no player can be had for more than our exception.

3 mill or so.

HE IS NOT RETIRING! he wouldn't tweet an upbeat message just to tell his fans that he's retiring...

Most likely just going to be announcing some sort of charity or event that he's gonna be hosting while he heals himself.

Just shows you how negative a mentality some people can have that it's the first thing their mind goes to.

An heir for Kobe. That kid would have so much competitiveness and probably an amazing post game for a guard by the 7th grade ahah

There will be a lot of disappointed people if Kobe has no son

But, look at Jordan's son

Good point, normally the best athletes dont have great son's to carry on their name. However, I feel like if Kobe has a boy and he is anything like his father with his work ethic hes gonna be at least a decent player.
