I hope Miami murders San Antonio. Make Duncan cry and Pop retire

I'm totally with you. It sucks so much to root for the Heat but I'm thinking about what is going to give the LAKERS the best chance next season and that is not the spurs upsetting the heat in the finals and the heat being pissed off and out for revenge next season. We want Miami to be at their most vulnerable next season, and that is much more likely to happen with them winning the title this year.

What was up with Lionel Hollins grabbing & shoving one of his own players down on the bench (Bayless)? That was crazy.

With that logic, I hope the Lakers never win two championships in a row otherwise they will get championship hangover next season.

It makes sense so don't go saying it's a crazy thing to say or whatever. The 2010-2011 season, the season after we repeated, ended up in a 4-0 conference semis sweep by the Mavs. I'm not saying that same scenario would happen to the heat next season assuming they win the title but it shows you that a team is much more vulnerable after they've won two titles in a row and been to three finals in a row. Imagine if we had of lost in 2010. Do you think we would have gotten swept in the second round the next season? I don't think so. We probably wouldn't have won the title but we definitely would have been pissed from getting so close to winning the title and failing in the end, which is exactly the scenario the heat would be in if they lose in the finals this year.

Yeah, I'll still take that 2010 title.

Yeah, I'll still take that 2010 title.

I would too lol. You didn't answer anything that had to do with my point though. Again, I'm not saying this WILL happen, who knows if the Heat win this year they might be that much tougher to beat next year but it will likely be the opposite scenario- they win this year, it will be easier for teams to take advantage of their hangover next season.
