I would love to see the Grizzlies take out the Spurs, but I think Pop, Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili get back to the Finals. Spurs in 6

It will be either Grizzlies in 6 or Spurs in 6/7 games. I want the Grizzlies to advance but I wouldn't be surprise if Spurs win the series. I think it would could down to the Grizzlies role players. If they can provide 20 to 25 points, they would beat the Spurs.

Grizzlies in 6, I don't see the Spurs being able to handle that frontline.

Spurs in 7. People undersell the spurs but this year they are running on all cylinders and their younger guys have the expirence now to be able to play in this spot light behind the veterans. Not gonna be a flashy series to watch because of the teams play styles, but will be a good series due to a pretty decent match up.
Im just glad that the two teams I feel have the best shot to beat the heat made it to the WCF so at least one of them will be able to make the heat work for the chip.
All I want for Christmas is a Laker girl

Grizz in 5
"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Spurs in 6. Memphis really struggles to score at times. Facing a Thunder team w/o Westbrook is much different than facing the Spurs at full strength.

I would prefer to root for Memphis, however, more importantly for me is who would give Miami potentially a tougher time and I'm not sure which will. I would lean a bit towards the Spurs in that regard, but Memphis has their own distinctive advantages as well. At the end of the day though, I trust the Spurs more. They've been there & done it before while obviously Memphis never has.

Grizz in 7, Spurs are great at slowing and setting a half court pace when they need it in crunch times. It works great against quick jump shooting teams. Difference is in this series, maybe the Spurs are the more flashy and quicker team. A grind match can only favor the Grizz, besides the Spurs aside from Duncan haven't really shown they can really play a good interior game consistently.
In this series the Spurs are gonna actually want to get a quicker a pace and transition. I just think the Grizz can cancel them outside and inside.

Memphis in 7. I think they matchup well against the Spurs frontcourt and have the perimeter defensive prowess in Allen and Prince to contain San Antonio just enough.

The Spurs showed me they can still win games with Parker and Ginobili having off-nights but their biggest trump card is Gregg Popovich. Hollins has to coach his ass off and the Grizzlies defense need to target Green and Leonard. When those two guys lose the confidence to make shots, they slow down ball movement, pass up open shots, make mistimed drives, and end up hurting the Spurs offense. I'm confident Randolph and Gasol have things under control in the paint. Overall, I have to give the edge to Memphis despite their tendency to go on offensive dry spells.

Toughest series in the playoffs to call by far.
Thinking this one goes 7, with the Spurs coming out on top. However, if the Grizzlies win it wouldn't be shocking in the least.

Grizz in 6, too much energy and youth for the Spurs. Z-Bo and Gasol will eat up Duncan and Splitter alive. (if Duncan had trouble with Bogut he'll have trouble with Z-Bo 5 times worse)

Pau Gasol is GONE

San Antonio is one of the most overrated franchises of all time. I hate em so I'm hoping for a sweep by Memphis but they should take care of these scrubs in 6.

I don't know how many games it will be done in. It's kind of hard to gauge but I think Memphis takes this in the end.
They're incredibly gritty and Z-Bo + Gasol are pretty unstoppable.

Klay Thompson's impact would be no different than the impact Jodie Meeks currently makes if not just a small amount higher and Jodie actually shot a better percentage than did Klay last year.
