Richard Hamilton scored 15 points in 35 minutes of the Chicago Bulls' Game 5 loss to the Miami Heat, and he knows he likely does not have a future with the organization.

The Bulls will buy out Hamilton for $1 million this offseason.

Hamilton has said he hopes to play two more seasons.

"Even though the last two weeks have been hard, my teammates have been great," Hamilton said. "They were so supportive of me and dumbfounded by the situation. They kept me going."

For vet min I'd take Rip off the bench. I knows he's old and been injury plauged the last couple years. I'd obviously hope we pursue other options 1st, but if those ain't available then I don't mind picking him up.

No real point in having Rip if we already have Meeks and/or Goudelock.

True though i will wait till Meeks option is picked up and Goudelock is resigned first before ruling out other options. They very likely will be but could also not be either. Until contracts are official other options are still possibilities.
