This is the current plan for the league as of today:

5/13 - 5/19: Finish drafting, free agency, offseason trades.

5/20 - 5/26: Begin the first round of the playoffs, 2 match-ups covered (about 3 days each match)

5/27 - 6/2: Two match-ups again, we will have the final 4 match-ups the following week since most schools will be done with their Finals by then.

6/3 - 6/9: The final 4 match-ups of the first round will be completed. 2 of them in the first 3 days, the other 2 to finish the week.

6/10 - 6/16: All 4 semi-final match-ups will be completed, 2 in the first 3 days, the other 2 to finish the week.

6/17 - 6/23: Conference Finals and Championship. The two conference match-ups will be finished in the first 4 days of the week, the Final will close out the week.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We will have random playoff match-ups ready to go and posted by the start of next week, and we'll have a tentative listing of matches that will happen during the week. We're spreading around the first round to  If you can't devote time to your match-up in a given time period (say you were scheduled as one of the first match-ups and you had Finals going on at school), then just PM Massacre about it and we'll re-schedule it for some other time. We'll be way more lenient with the match-ups and times for the first round. From the 2nd round onwards, most everyone should be able to devote more time with the majority of school semesters complete.

So we'll probably wrap up this whole thing about two weeks before actual NBA free agency begins.

Any questions or suggestions?

I'm going to cover free agency later today when I get home.

If you've played fantasy sports, were using the waiver system.

So how many players will each team have. 12?

No regular season?

Could we plug the teams into some nba sim system to determine seeding?

Supermaor, 10 players minimum, 12 players max.

TKain, every program I've come across charges a price for that. If you know of anything free PM me but as of now we will have judges determine the seedings.

I think this may. I just type in nba sim league and this came up. Not sure if it does everything we need but I believe its free.

I'm a bit concerned on the accuracy of this thing. Just played around with it, and it had the 2012-2013 Miami Heat team (away) being undefeated against multiple matchups with several different Lakers squads consistently (1999-2000, 2000-2001, 2008-2009, 2009-2010). It even said the 00-01 Lakers only scored 6 points in the fourth quarter in one of the games. As an away team, they also beat the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls several times.

The Heat this season are good but they are not that good.

I plugged my team in, and the heat were no problem..

only the 1995-96 bulls were super tough

Update

Playoff seeding is currently being set by neutral parties. Sit right. Rosters are final. We are a little behind but we will pick up the pace as we get the first round round rolling, so judges, be ready.

I disagree. There's a lot of teams out there constructed to take down Jordan and Kobe. This is the most balanced challenge Ive ever done.

Another update
Will have all the results tomorrow. Depending on when, we can either start round 1 tomorrow or Saturday and complete it by the weekend. Thanks for being patient guys.

I ran lots of sims in that whatifsports website, and teams with Jordan and Kobe just do better...

like my team is super talented, but, lacks a true 30 ppg scorer... the big O just doesn't put up the stats I thought he would...

Everyone on my team scores between 8-15 points a game!  and plays 28-15 mins a game...

I'm going to start up the 2nd half of round 1 tomorrow and that will run through June 9th.

The first four matchups should have been over with by now, but I guess some of the judges are too busy. Whatever. We can wrap up the entire first round by June 9.
