The physical play of the Chicago Bulls has prompted Dwyane Wade to begin wearing a mouthpiece.

"I've been getting hit in the mouth too much," he said, "and I've been getting a lot of cuts in my mouth and I can't eat during the week.

"Getting hit in the mouth, and having to deal with these cuts in your mouth for two weeks, it's torture."

Wade said that the new equipment will be permanent.

Why is this news? Lebron's been wearing a mouth piece forever.  Welcome to the norm Wade.  80% of players in the NBA wear mouth piece.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Yeah, I wonder why he is talking about it? Just put in the mouthguard and do it up if you're going to do it. Everyone doesn't need to know, or know why.

What a wimp. He's trying bring attention to the physical play so the refs look for it more, as if the heat don't already get enough calls as it is.

Heat have attempted 105 free throws so far in this series. Bulls have attempted 107 free throws.

I think the series is pretty even when it comes to getting calls.
