So lets say MDA plays a style of offense suited for the roster, as its currently configured (with changes at the bench). Assuming: mwp is amnestied, Clark is resigned, and Howard. Do you think the lakers could succeed b. going away from small ball. Pau and Dwight play their high low and Clark at the three? It could be bad, but figured worth talking about.

We aren't making it to the finals with MDA as the coach.

This thread has nothing to do with the finals.

 

lineup wise, I see this:

Dwight

Pau

Clark

Nash

Blake (then Kobe)

 

Maybe throw in names to be determined.

He asks if the Lakers could succeed. Succeeding for the Lakers is a banner....not happening with MDA.

MDA can't coach anything besides small ball. He's just a figurehead now, letting Gasol or whomever run the game from the high post.

I hate small ball. With an old team it's garbage. I was just trying to envision a different style more suited for the roster.
