[expletive] the new CBA. LA can't sign and trade anymore.
It's the small market team owners like Dan Gilbert that whined about the perks that a big market has during the CBA negotiations. In reality, there were many management mistakes that they made that caused mediocrity, not the salary cap. Look at New York as a great example. They are a big market team, but only now are they getting back into contention. Take into account all the [expletive] moves that Gilbert has allowed over the years, and you wonder why a pissy kid is allowed to be the owner of an NBA team.
Other examples: Hedo Turkoglu contract, Jameer Nelson's new contract, Rashard Lewis, etc.
