I've always thought he was a scrub until the Rockets played the Thunder last round. He did a decent job on KD and hit some shots for the Rockets.. we are usually good at finding under the radar guys as well so it could work.

i think it has to do more with how they'll play better for another team, and play good in the beginning with the lakers...but just fall apart later, so far it's been because of the staff >>

Idk. I mean were kinda stuck to having to get guys like him cuz all we have is min contracts and one exception I believe. Still guy is gonna be 32 mid season and he obviously on the decline of his career and for a while now.

I mean for min yea take him. Will he take that I have no idea. Not sure how valuable he is.

If we have to give him our mini than no.

Agree. We can do better with the mini-midlevel than Garcia.

Nick Young, Dorrell Wright or perhaps even Tony Allen.

Garcia is a vets minimun guy, IMO.

Ronnie Brewer and Francisco Garcia are Veterans Minimum.

Tony Allen and OJ Mayo are mMLE.

Martell Webster is mMLE MUSTresignDwighttolurehimhereLE.

If tony Allen were willing to do mini MLE and a two year deal, he'd be nice. Think glock and Morris will return, or a vet min on a different guard? B

Not everyone liked meeks...

Some, like ME, hated him even... thought he was pure garbage even before he ever put on a laker uni...

Philly, a team that NEEDS a starting SG, let him walk... why, cause he is not good...

We knew he was horrible on defense, and was not even that good of a shooter...

The whole offseason, I was mystified as to why lakers fans were HIGH on meeks... why every article was mentioning him...

Articles were mentioning him, to troll the lakers into signing a sub par player...

Idiots in the laker organization bought the hype from ESPN, and signed him...

Similar to how the NBA decided to give dantonie coach of the month, just to mess with the lakers heads...

we like him now, but once the season begins the tables always turn!

remember when we loved Jodie Meeks b4 the season

The more important question is, is he best shape ever?

Trade for Austin Rivers, say, Hill & Johnson.

I've never noticed this guy. His highlight reel looks solid, but I can show you one for Meeks too. His fg% isn't much better than his 3pt%. I guess the Lakers need to fill the end of the bench.

Yeah he's not an end of the bench player.

He can shoot threes, knows his role, and doesn't have concrete feet like Jason Kapono. If he's cheap, sign him right up.

hes not much better than meeks - he cant create off the dribble much better at all. he'd just shoot 2% better than meeks from 3 - which basically would make him just as useless. hes just as one-dimensional. pass

"The West aint close, now that the LAL got Dwight, who gon stop him on OKC!????" - Chris Webber (nba tv -August)

Big 4s are OVERRATED. you think Nash/Kobe/Dwight cant carry the whole Offensive load!?
