Won't help them win the World Series, though. Cubs have the better team still. Even if the Dodgers pass the Cubs in the playoffs, I can't see them beating one of the dominant AL teams in the World Series.

IF the Dodgers get healthy by September, and thats a big IF, they can do some damage in the playoffs. If healthy this could be our potential lineup:
Furcal - SS
Kemp - CF
Martin - C
Ramirez - LF
Ethier - RF
Kent - 2B
Garciaparra/Blake - 3B
Loney - 1B
pitcher spot
That is a pretty good lineup right there, put it with our pitching:
Penny
Lowe
Billingsley
Kershaw
Schmidt
You cant say that the Dodgers wouldnt do some damage in the playoffs, I dont care what the team. But again its a big IF unfortunately
