I have no idea what your team name means but it has the word "high" in it so +1.

I wish they did, really would have loved to see what they did the next season without Akagi and with Sakuragi finally a legit basketball player. Also never got to see a match-up between Shohoku with that giant kid Sakuragi saw in the Nationals. Oh well.

have you read the match against Sannoh?  That was superbly written. Man Rukawa and Sakuragi are awesome.

Yeah, I've read the series from beginning to end like 3 times. That match is just legendary. The final scene where Rukawa dishes to Sakuragi was so awesome.

I loved Slam Dunk's characters so much that I made 4 of the teams (Shohoku, Kainan, Ryonan, Shoyo) on my 2K11 save file. They look crappy for the most part, but they play as close to the manga characters as I could make them. Hell, when it's not zoomed in it looks just fine. My Akagi and Maki both looked pretty legit though

I watched the anime like 10 times and still watch some episodes now and then.

At the very least they should have made remaining chapters into OVA.

Sakuragi+Rukawa.jpg

1 of the greatest moments in mankind.

It bums me out that this anime/manga wasn't continued.

Dude! I do too! I have a guy I drafted in 2k13, last pick, 2nd round. His name is Jared Ward, but his gameplay is the same as Sakuragi. Rebounds, blocks, hustles. Hahaha. I have a Maki like player too.

Agreed. Dude is always projected to be Top 25 player. Earlier I didnt need him but this was simply ridiculous. Couldnt pass this chance.
