HUGE retirement plans for mega-rich UFC fighter Chael Sonnen -- he tells TMZ, he wants to buy the WWE when he quits fighting ... a company valued at more than half a BILLION dollars.
And Chael's rep insists he's not joking, telling us, "It is 100% Chael's intent to buy the WWE." In fact, the rep says Chael is already meeting with bigwig friends in the investment world to enact his takeover.
Bad news though -- a rep for the WWE tells us the company ain't for sale ... at least not yet ... so Chael better be prepared to put a sweet offer on the table.
The rep adds, "We are a publicly traded company, so [Chael is] more than welcome to purchase shares of WWE stock and become one of our valued shareholders.”
And that's the bottom line!

Wow, this is very interesting to say the least and awesome. I would love for that to happen. Obviously Chael is all about entertainment and can provide it at a top quality quite naturally that not many can. I'd be happy enough for him just to move to the WWE and be a central performer/character, but I guess he probably doesn't want that.

WWE wouldn't be the same without Vince.
"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons." - Kobe

TNA not only has better girls, but they show more as well. WWE's gotten' weak in that department over the past years.
Can't really show much when Mattel is your biggest sponsor.
Linda McMahon also ran for Senate in Connecticut two times (2010 and 2012, failing both times).
Apparently Vince spent $90-100mil on her two attempts at running for Senate.

could just be a future angle, way to introduce him in the WWE...don't be surprised if he shows up at a raw or PPV sometime in the near future
besides, doubt he's got a several billion laying around...seriously don't think vince would even entertain the thought of selling for anything less

Him coming on as a heel wanting to buy the WWE would be major awesome. Just imagine him in the center of the ring talking trash. I'd put him right behind The Rock.
