The Brooklyn Nets have fired interim coach P.J. Carlesimo a day after the team's ouster from the playoffs in seven games by the Chicago Bulls.

Johnson's son is such a clown. I'm surprised his dad doesn't tell him to shut up.

That Nets team has no 'fire'.  They played like a team that felt like they were 'supposed' to win.

Pretty much a lot like we played in our lackadaisical period when we felt "eventually we'll win 10 games in a row"

but the Nets carried that into the playoffs.

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

The Nets are not contenders... I honestly think if if they had Dwight instead of Brook Lopez they wouldn't have made it that far.

Everytime I watched them play its as if they never knew their team identity.

Deron Williams can't even seem to find his role or niche in that roster and its kind of upsetting because boy he was my favorite PG when he played for the Jazz..

The Nets played it like the Lakers should've.

They weren't quick to hire a new coach. They just let an interim coach step in. Now, they'll be able to better evaluate who to hire because they've seen a whole season of these guys playing together and they have an entire off-season to plan for it.

Choosing to hire a permanent coach right away not only didn't give them a lot of time to evaluate, but it made them commit to a coach.
