Proof or commit suicide?

if mwp is the lakers starting SF next year, all hope will die... laker suicide right there if they choose to keep him. cant have 3 of the slowest players at their positions and expect to be a good team on D.

Now I don't know who this would be but he's 6'8 or 9. 24 to 28 years of age. Automatic from outside the arc and can create his own shot off the dribble. Really good on the ball defense..... Does this player exist?? And how do we get him?? Naturally we would have to fix our bench guard issue but I'm referring to a starter

Martell Webster except he's 6'7

Igoudala too but he's unobtainable.

1) CDR will make no difference
2) Metta sucks but CDR isn't the answer
3) CDR sucks too
4) There are better options that CDR, CDR isn't even an option.
5) CDR has never proven to do anything you said Metta can't do.

Notice how you can't back up your comments about CDR cause he hasn't done [expletive] in the NBA.

Webster is not a on ball defender he defends pretty well tho and damn sure can't create his own shot.

Not a great one, but he's adequate.

And I don't know how much Webster you watch cause yes he can create his own shot.

Yeah I agree he can play defense little but no way he creates his own shot. Spot-Up Shooter/Corner Specialist, that is all I've seen of him and that is what wizards used him for. But Outside of shooting open shots, he has too many limitations in all of the other areas of the game to be a legit starter at the 3, and that is why he disappears during stretches because he can't create us on shot. One of the top corner 3 point shooters this season and finished like 64- 65th in the league in above-the-break three-point percentage.

Lakers should look into getting a few minor pieces.

Some of these guys may not be possible to acquire, but its worth a shot.

Nick Young

Chris Douglas Roberts

Randy Foye

Daequan Cook

Dorrell Wright

CJ Miles

Trevor Ariza (If he declines his player option)

Terrence Williams

I don't know how anyone could complain about Metta's shot chucking at times but in the same sentence want Nick Young.

Nick Young averages about the same shooting percentages as Metta on less shots taken.

That's not a good sign.

nick young avg 3.8 makes on 9 shots per this year. one missed shot under 50%; yet he ends up at 41%.

mwp shot 40% on 11 shots.

but honestly; screw the stats. you just cant compare nick young and mwp's offensive games.
