If Pierre's team option isn't picked up by the celtics, what about pierce coming home for cheap? Obviously this is predicated on his willingness to forgo any big money. Would you take him?

I don't ever see him leaving the C's. Garnett maybe but not Pierce.

He may not have a choice, they are discussing whether to buy him out.

Garnett has a no trade clause. If Pierce leaves, Garnett will likey waive his clause as well.

Garnett might be retiring. Talk out of Boston is that there is a very good chance the rebuild starts this off-season.

No.

Celtics should've cashed in on Pierce at the deadline. Garnett too.

Kobe will want him.   If he comes here, he'll break down and we'll complain all year about his slow defense.

If he goes to the Clippers, we'll be sick to our stomachs all season.

pierce has still plenty left in the tank and something to offer to the game, it would be a shame if he chose to retire out of just loyalty to the celtics who will likely look to end ties with him and kg

how bad does he want to win another one, thats the question

even kg, he's older but he is a rare defensive mind and shouldn't retire just yet, mind you i hate both these guys with great passion but them retiring, i just feel they still have a "last stand" to offer somewhere around the league

hopefully its not the clippers though, that would DEFINITELY make them contenders without a doubt (and possibly one of the most hated teams in the league lol), unlike this season's failure

if dwight stays in la could they be attracted?..i don't know, how serious do kg and pierce take celtics pride? shaq clearly didn't give a damn about lakers lol..i don't think those 2 would ever put on a lakers jersey

I think KG is a more attractive trade piece, provided he doesn't veto the deal to wherever it is they want to trade him.

As for the Truth...I like his game, I know he's from LA, but how many times are we gonna get old, slow players and then start complaining about it halfway through the season? Seriously, it's enough. Don't want him. Let's get some young legs in here, even if they aren't well-rounded players. We just need guys who can get up and down the court for once. Are we trying to put together the All-NBA senior team? Nash, Kobe Pierce, Pau...good lord, we'd get run out of every building we went to.

lol okay. steve nash to the lakers.

Paul Pierce was a Laker fan his whole life until he got to the NBA. And he has no choice. He want's to play. He won't be a Celtic next year imo.

like i said, "anything can happen in the nba"

No he doesn't

He plays for the Celtics, but his favorite team growing up was always the Lakers and he still holds them in his heart.

He doesn't despise the Lakers   Far from it to be honest.

I'm more enticed with Garnett, he brings more of a leadership quality, especially on the defensive end, to me.
