It is funny, just as how the Warriors are accused of being to relaint on jump shooting and too young when they lose, they Spurs are blamed for being too slow and old when they themselves lose. In the end no team looks good losing regardless of pedigree.

Doesn't make it any less true.

"Couldn't care less" how you take it :)

So Curry getting 9 points on 4/14 shooting is "getting his regardless"?!

It just gets better and better.

If you couldn't care less you wouldn't respond.

Anyway... I knew when you would eventually be wrong on the series this would happen. Enjoy.

Curry is going to score regardless, one off game isn't going to change that.

Where the consistency needs to come from is from Thompson and Barnes,  Barnes has arrived and is playing consistently, Klay is on and off, and if Klay is off it requires a big game from Curry.   But Curry is going to score regardless, it's what he does.

I hope you're honestly not expecting him to score just 9 points in game 6. When he's scored 44, 22, 16 and 22 in the 4 games prior.   if you are then THAT is the hilarious thing.

The consistency has to come from Thompson now, as Barnes has found his.

Dude, read your own words (as you are so fond of doing).

You just said he will "get his regardless". I assume since you typed it you know what it means. Curry was stifled tonight by the Spurs. If he could "get his regardless" he would find a way no matter what.

I said nothing about him scoring like this next game, though I wouldn't be surprised if he goes nuts scoring or lays an egg again. He's young, by nature they're erratic.

That's a big reason young teams don't win the cup in the NBA.

Like I said, I'm not expecting Curry to have another game like this.

I'll take his games of 44, 22, 16 and 22 he's gone for in this series as my evidence that he will get his regardless over his 9 point performance today as evidence he won't.  When it comes to "erratic" Curry has been far from it in terms of scoring this series.  The 16 point game happened when he injured himself, if you want to call that erratic..more power to you, to me he's been consistent.

Curry has been consistent so he's not the guy you need to worry about in terms of scoring.

The guy said when Curry isn't shooting he's a liability, so I answered that Curry will get his regardless and that the consistency needs to come from Barnes and Thompson while ALSO acknowledging that Curry and Thompson had off games today.

I guess you missed that though.

Curry is having injury problems and playing hurt...

Most players wouldn't be out there
The fact he is shows his Kobe like determination...

Golden state is so great... The future is looking so good for them... Curry, Thompson, barnes... All young, all going to be top 5 at their positions

And all they have is young role players... Green, bazimore, and they somehow signed Scott machado?
then they got good low paid vets like Richard Jefferson, jarred jack, Carl Landry..
And vets lee and bougot down low...

This team is built very well...

It all won't matter in the end when the Warriors are home watching the playoffs.

Gd Sate has major decisions coming up on personnel and payroll. The future will only look bright if hey make the right choices.

They have some hardcore decisions coming up really quick.

Actually GSW may be the team getting tired.

They have never played so many games .. and they get very few easy baskets (esp against Spurs)

This may be taking a toll on their legs ..

Once again, experience.

When a coach and a team ha been there they know how to budget their energy. Mark Jackson is a damn good coach and he will wind up getting better. But right now, the Warriors don't have what it takes to knock out a savvy veteran led team like the Spurs.

Fill me in...

Curry, barnes, Thompson are a great foundation...
All on rookie contracts too

I think they will be able to find pieces to complment these guys,,, none of the surest vets they got is irreplaceable...
Jack, lee, bogot are all useful... But not franchise players

The future is golden states..

Golden state hopes to turn into the next version of the spurs... Solid, built around a few players, and make the playoffs for a decade plus...

Golden state has very bright future, maybe even brighter then then thunder after they dumped harden...

Slow your roll guys.

When I get home I can look up the Warriors' contracts but right now off the top of my head I can't remember.

http://www.hoopsworl...ors-team-salary

They are paying bougot and lee bug money next season, but you got to pay for big men..

Biedrns is on the books for 9 million... That's the bad contract ... But they can buy him out
Jefferson has player option for 11 mil ...

So that like 20 million on marginal players...
They have a half dozen quality players on rookie contracts though...
So that 20 million in waste is offset...

Only player they need to bring back is jarred jack...

And they still have Brandon rush for another year at 4 mill

This is a very well constructed team
