He is going to be a free agent this off season or whenever the warriors are done. Seems like a reasonable guy for the lakers to pick up. He is a great shooter and he is fast. Still in his 20's though late 20's. He is getting better every year. Could be a six man candidate if they didn't start him this year. Not sure if he is willing to come off the bench for the lakers but he is not that expansive to get I dont think.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

I would be surprised if he left the Warriors. They're building something great there and it's all coming together.

Right now the Lakers got swept, Golden State just took out the 3rd seed to advance. He has great chemistry with the Warriors so why leave?

Money. He made 5 million this year and played the best basketball of his career. How much do you think the Lakers are gonna pay him? They have to BEAT an offer from the Warriors while having no cap room and beat it enough that he turns away from his team.

Not happening.

The Lakers are not going to pick up any of these notable players because no one wants to sign a weak ass MLE. If you want him you have to trade for him. Blame the Lakers FO for authorizing these outrageous contracts.

You didn't hear the news on the radio? He rejected the warriors offer for an extension and wants to test the free agency.  But you guys are right, lakers can't spend any money for any good players now. We so much over the cap even if we amnesty Metta we can only sign MLE players that nobody wants.

Should the Lakers pursue and sign Lebron James to the MLE?

Great. They still have to do things within the confines of the CBA.

We can't afford to pay him. He will ask something like a  3 year 30-million and he's worth it.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Doubt it would happen.  Ignoring salary issues, GS has a much brighter short term future than we do.

Seems like anyone that is even remotely good has a slim chance of coming to this team.

Jarrett Jack shut down contract extension talks with the Golden State Warriors back in January.

Jack will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.

Playing in the final year of his contract, Jack averaged 12.9 points and 5.6 assists and finished third in the Sixth Man of the Year voting.

Jack has upped his production in the postseason, averaging 18.8 points and 7.0 assists, including 52.6 percent shooting from the field and 90.6 percent shooting from the free throw line, all higher than his regular season averages.

Is there going to be a freakin' thread for every free agent this summer?

He already confirmed that he wants to re-sign with the Warriors.

Please take two minutes and read the headlines on news sites before you make a thread for each and every player that may or may not be on the market this summer.
