I heard we gonna keep them both no matter what... Steve Hartman said that one man that has some ownership to the lakers is gonna pay whatever for the Lakers to keep odom and ariza

Wow, they're willing to keep both? Even better!

I'm surprised. I guess the Lakers are obviously one of the 50% of NBA team's making a profit, lol.
Gooden>> Lamar Odom. Mo Williams>> Ray Allen>> Gasol. Nene= Gasol.

I heard the Lakers are going to let LO's contract expire to open up their salary cap to resign Kobe and Gasol.

Well, there's a salary cap. We might wanna sign everyone but we can't. I'm liking LO this year but we gotta lose someone.

I'm thinking it's gotta depend on if we win the title (which we will). I really hope Kobe takes a pay cut, but I know that's impossible, and he ain't rollin with ADIDAS.

Merge with a similar thread.

If we let Odom walk for nothing... we still need to use our MLE for a big because Powell, Mbenga, and Mihm can't be a back up player in the rotation.

Try to bring back both players if the price is right. Let Mihm, Mbenga, and Powell expire. Try to trade Walton for an expiring contract.

I really like the substitution of Odom for either Andrew or Pau, this provides a really good 3-man rotation for the C and PF.

I'd rather keep both..

I wish ball players realized how much money 5 million is and take a damn paycut for once.

We should keep all of them. Trade Mbenga, Yue and Mihm... He have to keep LO, Ariza and Farmar at all costs...

IIRC, Buss said he'll pay whatever it takes to keep this team in contention. Now whether that means he'll pay to keep EVERYONE, I do not know. He may still think we are contenders without [insert player(s) here]. For example, let's say player A gets injured and is out a month, but we still manage to play at a high level and destroy teams, then he may think player A is expendable.

Nissan, who is seriously going to take Walton?
I would trade Walton for some pork rinds and cheese.
