He's not a player I want to see go, but he's probably one of many who won't be here next season.

I like this guy a lot, but we NEED to get younger and more athletic. We can't do that by keeping guys that we "like".

Suddenly everyone loves a Laker when he isn't gonna come back.  When during the season they crush him for his inconsistent play.

Jamison bad start to season

Reaction: UGH!! Jamison is letting us down! He's done... WTF WERE YOU THINKING MITCH!?!?

Jamison has two good games early in the season

Reaction:  YES!! THIS IS THE GUY WE NEEDED HE'S THE GUY!!! AWESOME SIGNING!!

Jamison goes back to being docile and not playing defense

Reaction: OMG!! WTF!?!?! Sit this guy!!! He isn't contributing anything he's useless!!

Jamison gets benched and stays benched for a while

Reaction: OMG WHY ARENT THEY PLAYING JAMISON!?!?!?!? What was the point of signing him! He was awesome when he played! Look at these stats!

Jamison gets playing time and plays well to close out the year

Reaction: YES!! See!?!? What was so hard about playing the guy! He was obviously a missing piece our bench needed!!

Jamison no-shows in the playoffs

Reaction: UGH! Jamison you're freaking useless!!!

Jamison not re-signing with the Lakers

Reaction: Darn it.  He was great this year! I'll miss him :(  Why do we always lose the good players!!?!?!

Funny.

Funny.

This year was a roller coaster.

So were our emotions.

Yes, now if we get someone better on our bench, or Hill has a breakout season next year they will go back to crushing Jamison with lines like

"Jamison got playing time over Hill?? LOL!!"

or

"(Insert better players name) is amazing! We could have had him last year but no we wasted time on freaking Jamison."

Loved cheering for this guy. He was a professional throughout this [expletive]ty ass season. For the most part.

Wonder if he will play the 3 or the 4 for Miami in their system.

I like Jamison a lot, he's a true professional and I think a lot of guys could learn how to conduct themselves from him. We all know what his flaws on the court are and he was only here one season, but if I could I'd still thank him for signing with us this year. Just unfortunate it turned out so crappy.

That said, we NEED younger, more athletic players. The other guys like Jamison, (namely MWP, Pau, and Blake) are playing on borrowed time here. With a 39 year old Nash and a 34 year old Kobe coming off a ruptured Achilles, we're gonna need some serious help on the perimeter, shooters to help free up Dwight down low, defenders, and energy.

Lovely, I'd love to see Jamison defending the likes of Carmelo instead of Battier ^_^

I want him back personally. For the price, probably our best valued player

I think this isn't any secret. He's been the most outspoken (or awkwardly silent) guy against D'Antoni and if D'Antoni is back (which is what looks like will happen) there's no way he would re-sign.

For the veteran minimum, he was definitely a good option off the bench. Might be inconsistent, but how much can you expect for a minimum salary player? The early season struggles were part of not being used correctly, he got benched for no apparent reason, and late in the season his shooting wrist was injured.

I think he was the only guy saying what most of the team thought about D'Antoni. You might say that he was just sour about his DNPs early in the season, but this is a veteran guy who has always been professional.
