The funny thing is Asik, Parsons, draft picks and an athletic combo wing is a great deal.

Pau would be offensive big. Asik would not complain about touches. Parsons is a 3 or a 4 in small ball line ups. And draft picks plus a young dunker.

That is a great plan B

Although Pau showed a few flashes at times here & there of the old Pau, overall, I'm just frankly not comfortable & willing to trust & expect that much out of him for as severely enhanced a role as you're suggesting. I don't think that would be very wise on our part, especially at this point late in his career. I just think that's a tad unrealistic & asking a bit too much.

yo.

If we want to never win a championship with Kobe again and have a useless 12 million on our salary for the foreseeable future

Ummm

Pau and Asik would be enough in your frontcourt.

I look at Parsons as a good young player.

Hill and Clark finish out your bigs.

Now you add perimeter players to help Kobe and Nash. I say keep Meeks and Blake and add a good young combo guard.

The last thing we want is a shot-jacker.

CP3 unhappy Clippers could not come up with Doc Rivers according to realgm.

This could mean he's leaving. But where? Yes this has somewhat affect on D12 since they wanna play together.

Mike D'Antoni is GARBAGE.

Um no they wouldn't. That's a team without a 2nd option and a team playing 4 on 5 any time asik is on the floor

Asik is widely over rated. He's an ok defender. Thats it. But his contract is ridiculous. No way we take that.

Anyone who is okay with taking on Asik's salary should be removed from these forums immediately.

You are understating Asik.

He is in many ways like Tyson Chandler. In fact, I like his offensive skillset better.

Asik makes 5 this season right? And the year it spiked he is an expiring. Hence trade bait.

That's why they did it like that.

Amare is a bad contract, Asik is a decent one for the reason I just laid out.

I think Pau and Dwight combined for 30 points this season. I can see Asik taking a step(as bigs usually do) and those 2 combining for the same.
Parsons is a 15 point guy moving forward.

That's 45 of your points in my opinion.

I also want draft picks and I want to add a player like Nick Young or Aafalo.

I think with Kobe and Nash and Blake and Meeks. , that we COULD be top 4 seed for sure.

Plus next year it counts as 8-9million in cap space as far as luxury tax. Very tradable.
