One thing I want to know is, if GS already has buyers for their bad contracts, why would they want to lose guys like Klay or Barnes in a S&T?

That's a good point, if they can make the trades then there's basically no reason for them not to just try to sign Dwight outright... Well tomorrow will be a big day, whether Dwight officially announces a decision as rumored that he would, or not.

Broussard.  Vecsey.  Palmer.  Kennedy.

Tomorrow, a handful of these knuckleheads will take a chance and pre-announce Dwight's decision... even when they don't have any real source to back it up.  They'll gamble on saying Lakers, or Rockets, or Warriors.  They figure: there's 1 in 3 chance they'll hit the jackpot.  If they get it wrong, nobody remembers.  Because nobody ever cares to remember.  But if they get it right, they hit the jackpot.  They'll always be remembered as the insider who "broke" the story 6 hours before everyone else.

Just wait and see.

Also, all of them will use the word "Multiple Sources."

Very disturbing to hear that...Stein/Shelburne were all over the Rivers to the Clippers story from the get go to the finish so its a credible report

Story w/@ramonashelburne, via ESPN sources, has Lakers conceding for first time sign-and-trades must be considered if Dwight indeed bolts

I've been prepared for him to leave. It's just harder because I feel like the Lakers haven't done anything right in trying to get him to stay.

I'm now not only worried about the future because the Lakers didn't retain their superstar, but I'm worried about our future heading forward with Jim Buss in control.

if Dwight is gonna go I hope its Golden State...we can get Barnes/Thompson/Bogut's expiring + 2014 1st round pick (they gonna have to fetch it from a 3rd team I dont think they have one of their own). You rebuild but its a very fast rebuild, 2014 you're back to being a title contender

Shouldn't have hired MDA in the first place! Still annoying, because not many people were even on board with the hiring, and MDA coaching this team is probably one of the bigger factors as to why this team struggled so much, and why it will possibly continue to struggle. It's one thing to lose Dwight, but to keep MDA :(
