Goudelock went from getting cut by LAL, to being the MVP of the D-League, to the improbable late-season call up. "It's been crazy."

Goudelock's refreshingly honest right now talking about how difficult it is in the D-League, constantly feeling unwanted by NBA teams.

He was leading the league in scoring, seeing his backup called up by another team, wondering what else he could do.

Goudelock on Kobe: "The guy is a warrior - just being around him, I tried to take that mentality, where nothing can penetrate your mind."

The first thing @kobebryant said to @0goudelock (who loves Kobe) about his Achilles injury: "It's a small thing to a giant."

Andrew Goudelock said Lakers want him to work out in the summer. He doesn't have a place to live, though

Goudelock said "nothing" could have beaten the opportunity to start for the Lakers in the playoffs.

Again.. I say sign.. this..kid.  Seems like he really wants to be here.

Maybe he could stay with Morris?

Andrew was good at hitting the 3 to begin with. Lakers hoped signing meeks would help the 3pointer issue and that he would go on a consistent streak. The Lakers didnt want anything other than that since they thought Nash would find him in a PnR consistently..

Aside of Andrew's 3 pointer, and despite the height difference which is less than meeks by less than 2cm, at least he can create his own shot. His  floater + a cutter jamison are examples of getting easy points when the team is struggling, and could build momentum..

So yeah, I'd pick Goudelock any day.

Meeks was a disappointment.

Hell no, Morris had enough chances, he started for a while, he cant do anything aside of his okay on ball defense .. He consumes his body way more than thinking right, he's indecisiveness is brutal..

Playing 3 years w/o significant improvement is just a waste of spot...

The guy is realllllly nervous when he plays, only time he show some heart(but not necessarily good bball) is in garbage time ..

I'm talking about at the same house

Goudelock is homeless, that's why I bolded that. Aside from hotel's when the team would travel he has no place to stay.

Then he'd have to stay with Kelly Divine as well.

The College of Charleston product was refreshingly honesty about what it was like being in the D-League, where he was scoring a ton, dropping dimes when no one said he could play point guard, then watching his backup get called up by the Clippers, and another teammate who was injured get the call to New Orleans. He was just frustrated and feeling like he could add something to the next level, but never quit, kept working until he was named League MVP. The Lakers call up was something of a fluke due to injuries, but he hopes he was able to remind GM’s of what he can do, and that he’ll have a chance to make a roster next season.

Lakers need to bring him back immediately before he goes to another team and shines.   I want him to shine HERE.  He's got a lot to play for and prove.  We need someone with that kind of chip and determination on their shoulder, and Kobe adores that.

Plus the fact considering who she is and what she does for a living, she's probably capable of tempting them both asking them to participate in a you know what.

Knowing our history, he will likely get cut, go to a different team, and contribute. Hope I'm wrong.

I hope they use the team option on meeks. Nothing about the guy that we need. He would have a few good games but we need guys who can produce much more consistently. Glock well idk. He had a few good games in the end but took like 17 shots in both games and  shot like 40% I believe. Idk both really arent anything special. Maybe off the bench for a mill but I dont see him doing anything special. Just seems like another meeks.

Disagree, its hard to judge a Dleague player who suddenly was thrown in the starting line-up in the playoffs..

You could argue that both are below expectations, but other than we could use the MLE on someone else, we lacked the guy who can do things other than shoot the three, which meeks wasnt good enough. If we arent getting a guy like JR smith or OJ mayo(both would demand bigger contracts) Goudelock is better than meeks..

I'm not saying this because he had two acceptable games, but if you go back to the beginning of last season, at least most agreed that he deserved a chance ..

Meeks is so fast and erratic during a fast break, you worry he's gonna brick or turn it over.

Glock is a scorer, Meeks is simply a streaky 3 point shooter. So Glock ..

Meeks has a team option, so bringing him back wouldn't involve the taxpayer MLE.

The answer is to keep Goudelock, by the way.
