Can't find the other thread...

The NBA's relocation committee has unanimously voted against moving the Sacramento Kings to Seattle.

The Maloofs had entered into a sale agreement with a Seattle-based group led by Chris Hansen and Steve Ballmer.

A full vote is still forthcoming, but the rest of the NBA's owners will likely follow the recommendation.

Seattle lost its NBA franchise to Oklahoma City in 2008.

The Maloofs will now be pressured to sell the franchise to a group led by Vivek Ranadive that will keep the Kings in Sacramento.

Seattle will get its team!

I like Sac staying at home!

I hate when teams get bought out and have to move cities its just unfair.

Wow yea great job NBA. Lets keep this tem in sac even though they have been in the bottom 5 in attendance for the past 7 years. There fans suck and seattle would be a much better situation.

More importantly for the future of this team is that they have new owners.

Wherever they went, they would have been in a better situation by not being owned by the Maloofs.

Even tho it's weird that Seattle doesn't have a team, I'd find it weird if there were no Sacramento Kings
