Not sad because we were totally depleted. If we had a full healthy squad and got whooped like this I'd be devastated. Missing our best player though, and throughout the series we lost both our point guards, small forward, and backup shooting guard. Even the Spurs get weird about it, like it was an exhibition sweep or something.



    But I can’t love you obsessively for much longer.

I was only sad when Kobe got hurt after dragging this squad to the post season. There was small hope from many Lakers fans in facing the Spurs. Injuries continued & that hope was extinguished. When the finally horn sounded, it stung a bit but a buddy & mine were texting back & forth and soon I was looking forward to next season. 

Feels like 2012-2013 was the "karma season."

I'm just pretty much numb to it all really now and have been for a while. I try to find comedy in chaotic times (as some of you may have probably noticed already). It's not only a solid defense mechanism in a way, but it's also a healthy kind of medicine.
