Lemme guess, Chris Broussard will now get fired because of his beliefs.

hope not

IM curious to see what happens with Chris Broussard now, what he said was fine, I mean he has free speech, if they suspend him then it just proves my theory that its becoming the norm to accept, and be homosexual. Dont get me wrong, I could care less what someone else does with their life, If they enjoy being with men, thats fine with me, more women for me, but at the same time I dont like how america is turning into a place where its legit becoming, socially mandatory for you to announce your sexuality and for you to be fully supportive of gay rights, its really getting out of hand

Why is it so hard to come out now a days? Is there that many anti gay people especially in sports now? Almost everybody I listen to on the radio praised this guy for coming out. Even the anti gay people end up apologizing for saying anti gay stuff like Chris Culliver so it means that everybody accepts it. To be honest with you, I don't really care if they comes out or not. If I have a teamate who comes out, It doesn't affect me one bit. Unless he start hitting on me but I never seen a gay guy hitting on a straight guy before. So I dont see whats the big deal about.

What's funny is that the people who praised this stuff making a huge deal about this and over due it are the ones that make the people who come out uncomfortable. Heard this guy on the radio said more people in the NBA should come out.  I mean really? Why do they assumed there are more gay people in the NBA? What if Collins the only one? I guess this is a big deal because now it opens the door for the closet people to come out. I guess that is good but don't forced people to come out just so you can tell people you are pro gay. Let them do what they want. If they want to be in the closet so be it.  This reminds me of a white family having a token black guy over for dinner and they all treat the black guy special. Praising him and putting him on a pedestol just because he is black. If you truely want to not treat them differently, then don't.  Treat him like any other people.

MDA is an offensive genius. I hope he sticks to his guns and keeps doing what he does best: Run and Gun. That's the only way to coach.

Damn, I'm pretty surprised Multiple Sources said what he said. Not surprised he feels that way, but the fact that he's saying it. Either he has awesome job security & tons of close loyal friends or he knew damn well the risks of what could come from what he said and didn't give a damn.

I wouldn't say this guy is brave or deserves respect because nowadays anytime someone comes out anyone with a public presence will have to support them or they will automatically be labeled a bigot and attacked or criticized. Just like Broussard will probably be suspended or disciplined simply because he disagrees.

Exactly, no one can have an oppinion now other than "I support gay marriage", say anything other than that and you will be attacked. Kind of hypocritical.

^ Exactly. It's insane. I feel the exact same way that he does and see nothing wrong whatsoever with what he said. He wasn't blasting them saying that's sick, nasty, or wrong. He was simply stating why he feels the way he does and that he just doesn't understand it. Don't see how he "crossed the line", but again over PC rules all sadly.

I think it's funny that Broussard had to go out of his way to share his opinion...talking about premarital sex and homosexuality as sins.  I guess lying isn't considered a big deal as long as you can cite multiple sources.  He is entitled to his opinion, but his company is also entitled to discipline him as he is publicly associated with ESPN.

He didn't go out of his way. He was asked the direct question what were his beliefs about it.

"I find it very sad," Dr. Ruth

"That's why I said that I have mixed feelings, that we even have to talk about it. In my opinion, this is a private matter "

Really, stop throwing your sexuality at our faces. Handle your business behind closed doors.

According to the bible CB should end himself for working on a Sunday along with all his other ESPN co-workers.

The bible wouldn't classify him as a Christian either because he's being judgmental.

Can't have it both ways :)

But kudos to the guy for being brave
