Corey Maggette would be a decent player off the bench maybe.

I'm still crossing my fingers that Ryan Kelly is the next Dirk though...

From Maggette's most recent rotoworld update, looks like he had a lot of dnp-cd

My current wish list include Maggs, AK-47, Aaron Brooks.

Nay to Powell and Sasha

^ AK-47 AKA Ivan Drago AKA I must break you? You can't be serious. He is way out of our range.

Yeah, probably a pipe dream, but I haven't seen any updates about him on rotoworld, so was hoping he'd have no options and be forced to sign w/ us

Lakers have enough scorers in the starting line up. Bring in Ronnie Brewer. He's a good defensive SF to replace Ron.

Signed today for the mMLE in Brooklyn

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

^ I noticed. That was a bit surprising, but we needed Kaman (a big) more eventhough AK-47's probably the better overall player. Also, as said, he might get paid more under the table with that ridiculously wealthy Russian owner of theirs.

Love the idea.

What kind of trade would you guys do to get Rondo? (That Boston would accept)

Lakers Trade:
PG Steve Nash to Toronto

PG Steve Blake to Boston

Toronto Trades:
PG Kyle Lowry to Boston

SF Quentin Richardson to Boston

1st Round Pick to Boston

Boston Trades:
PG Rajon Rondo to Los Angeles

I'm pretty sure we could find a better trading partner than Toronto, but I know they would take that trade. Boston gets a talented Lowry back, and expiring Steve Blake, a 1st, and Richardson is a throw in to make salaries match.

Absolutely no way Toronto makes that trade and gives up all that for Nash.

This is funny because I was on espn trade machine trying to find a trade including Nash and Blake/Meeks with Boston and Toronto.

It would be more like this I think.

Lakers get: Rondo

Raptors get: Blake, Nash and a Lakers 2nd rd pick

Boston get: Lowry, Meeks and a couple of Lakers picks ( we would have to give up our 1st 2014 pick...)

After that we have to sign a SG (Sasha?...)

There's nothing we could do to get Rondo. There's no way Boston would facilitate a trade that involves Los Angeles dumping all of our old garbage to acquire their young all-star.
