Here is the Roster I would be content with.

Point guard Steve Nash/ Steve Blake/ Daniel Gibson or (other options Collision, Nate Robinson, Mo Williams if possible doubt it)/ Josh Selby

Shooting guard  Kobe/ Meeks/ Terrence Williams Or Nick Young

Small forward Metta/ Chris Douglas Roberts

Power forward Jordan Hill/ Ryan Kelly can also be use as sf /Brandan Wright

Center Pau Gasol/ Sacre/Byron Mullens (Want Andrew Bynum or Greg Oden)

Only offer these players 1 year vet mle($1.4 mil or less) or mmle ($3 mil) to players like Mo williams/Nate robinson.

We get younger athletic/ defensive/ let kobe/gasol/nash do majority of the scoring.

Damn Kobe out until November or December. :woot: :byecry:  :81:

Other canidates Jonny Flynn, Kenyon Martin, Will bynum, Jarret jack, Toney Douglas, Rudy Fernandez, Chris Wright etc. Got Lazy here are free agents in all position http://www.hoopsworl...nba-free-agents

Have they released the roster for this year's summer league?

Elias Harris(who I think has very good potential and is a great energy guy who I'm very high on for his all around game)
Michael Snaer(who is fearless but that works against him but he CAN get his own shot) whom was called the best two way player in the ACC by RA.
Marcus Landry
Ian Hummer(who I'm high on)

Drew Viney(don't know much about him)
Kenny Boynton Jr

Darius Morris
Andrew Goudelock(potentially)
Ryan Kelly(potentially)

We actually have some nice talent on the D-league roster.    If any of them adjust well enough to make our training camp roster they could be some nice cheap pieces.

If you asked me who I think could make the team(aside from Morris, Goudelock and Kelly) I'd say Harris and Snaer  and possibly Hummer(though I think he's headed for a San Antonio or Indiana like place that will maximize the kind of player he is) .  Don't know much about the rest of them.

You can read all about them here

http://lakernation.c...-summer-league/

I do a write up on some of them too complete with vids.

No problem :)  I think Harris and Snaer really do have potential.  I think Snaer makes the team on the necessity of our 2 guard position and the fact he has handles, can get his own shot and is fearless.

If Goudelock beats him for that spot then it will mean Drew's about to have a breakout year

These are the players that are still available that the Lakers could use.

Tyler Hansbrough... ENERGY GUY OFF THE BENCH
Ivan Johnson.. BRUISER DIRTY WORK TYPE PLAYER
DJ Augustin
JJ Hickson... Why not?
Randy Foye
Sam Young. SF that's really needed
Lamar Odom... IJS
No Williams
Dejaun Blair...
Marreese Speights
Corey or Ronnie Brewer.... MWP can't guard an ant trapped under the a plastic cup

I think all these players can be had for the money we have or don't have. Lol
Then keep a player or two from the summer league squad. Elias and Ryan if he's healthy

I like Ivan Johnson because of his hustle. Reminds me of a Turiaf kind of guy. But I could also be biased since he is the only CSUSB alumni in the NBA.

Lakers have reached out to Lamar Odom, but it been hard to determine how high interest level is on either side thus far.

Each hour we're wasting, other teams sign FA and build their roster.

Maybe the dark cloud hanging over the Lakers right now is keeping prospective free agents at bay.

Brooklyn is way over the cap at like 90 mil, maybe even more, but they got Shawn Livingston, CJ Miles and one more free agent.. Lakers have to do something before the only free agents are Kwame brown and Jermaine Oneal. Sheesh

Darren signs with the Clippers c
For like 1.9 mil per season. Player option on the second year. They split the mid level to sign both him and Barnes. Barnes will be getting 3.1 mil. Sigh

Collison ain't that good.  Just fast. And he sucks in the halfcourt set and is a terrible pick and roll player.  in the open court he's a blur but other than his speed he ain't got much else.

I get some of ya'll are frustrated with the front office but we need to stop acting like every darn free agent that gets signed was

A) affordable
B) a true game changer for our team.
C) all of the above, usually one or the other or both isn't true.

Of course not every free agent is affordable. But, there have been a couple of moves that leaves me scratching my dome.
