If I were Jim Buss, I would honestly come out and criticize the refs. Cuban does it all the time. The refs let them play on because they think Dwight can just absorb the hit. If Jimmy comes out, yeah he will be fined, but at least he is sending a message to Dwight letting him know they he cares about him and that he wants him - a reason to resign.

Criticizing the refs does nothing but paint you as a sore loser.
Blaming the refs is the first resort of the second rate.
I would hope that Dwight coming back or not isn't hinged on something trivila like that.

I hope dwight comes back stronger next year and dominates.

I hope dwight comes back stronger next year and dominates as a Laker
"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

Im sure he will come back AS a laker.
- great location
- team mates (kobe bryant, Nash and maybe Pau)

can't wait for this offseason, panicking is going to be rampant
Posted April 28, 2013 - 08:56 PM
I don't see why there is reason to panic as a Laker fan. Either way, with or without Dwight, MAJOR changes need to be made and the FO should look at all possibilities including amnestying Kobe (As discussed by many, let him rest and heal for a year in order to come back strong and sign him again in 2014).
1st on the agenda, FIRE MDA (Yeah Mitch said he would hang onto him, but isn't that what Mitch and Jim said about Potato Head?)
This will be a very interesting offseason and as a fan, I for one am actually really excited.
Pau 4 K-Love threads are what I'm anticipating (:

With David Khan possibly being knocked out of Minnesota, they'll want to re-tool that team right away.
Posted April 28, 2013 - 09:03 PM
That team has a lot of problems(T'Wolves)
Love's unhappiness. Khan being gone, Adelman's probable retirement.

Tough to figure out what he's saying. All I know is he says "man" at the end, and either he says "bxtch call" or "Mitch" in the beginning. But we're just looking far into it, we'll just have to wait for free agency.

I'm telling you guys, as Lakers fans, keep your heads up and put your seatbelts on for one hell of an offseason.
K-Love Spread 4, Dwight Dominating the low post will be something exciting to see.
Posted April 28, 2013 - 09:32 PM
Dwight will not dominate the low post offensively. He is a good offensive player, but his dominace lies in his defense and rebounding and that's okay.
Even 16 points is enough, we did not play the right way until it was too late then the mamba went out but we made the 7th seed without him and THAt was our parade.
it's okay to not have things go your way.
Even if we would have had all the things fall into place, Miami is not going to be denied this season. Rather catch them next year trying to go for four straight Finals appearances.

Would really suck if Dwight bolted, and became a superstar for another team again...His year here would essentially have been a long rehab to prepare him to be a superstar again for someone else.
