Clark is starting.

Spurs are without Thiago, which means Blair on Gasol a lot tonight.

I don't know....

We could have a shot here.

In my opinion this game will most importantly come down to(aside from the offensive end) foul trouble on the defensive end.

If Dwight and Morris don't get into early foul trouble and it's close midway through the third quarter we have a shot.

But if Dwight goes out early, or Morris goes out early, Tony Parker is gonna have a field day.

Worst thing to happen is when both had to go out last game.   It's great Goudelock went off though to bring us closer, but that would have been even better if he did that with Morris guarding Tony and Dwight still in.

We got a shot this game though.

Clark HAS to arrive.

And honestly I don't see why we don't ask Clark to guard Duncan.  Defending in the post is actually one of Clark's best aspects and he CAN block Duncan's turnarounds.

So I'd stick Clark on Duncan honestly, and move Gasol elsewhere defensively as the Spurs are skating a bigman down today.

We'll have to hope for big games from Goudelock and Morris again but above all we need Gasol to have a big game.  That means not having 8 points going into the 4th quarter.

It's gonna take an all around effort, but we have a shot for this game.  Not so sure about in a return game in San Antonio.   But this game, yeah we have a shot.

Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard, if there is some pride in your hearts, win this game for us.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

We may win this. Reason I say "may" is due to financial reasons/benefits for the Spurs.

I wish we could avoid being swept on our home floor, but I don't see that happening.

What a rough season.

^ Dallas swept us.

I have to appreciate some of the optimism on here. Some of y'all really believed we could win in 6. I applaud you all. I've been saying sweep the whole time

They're putting up one hell of a fight.

Hope the Lakers can at least try and replicate the same attitude.

The Knicks didn't have JR Smith.  The Spurs don't have Thiago... not really the same kind of difference ;P

But anyway

@LakersReporter

Starting line up for short-handed Lakers: Morris, Goudelock, Clark, Gasol, Howard. Out injured: Bryant, Nash, Blake, Meeks, World Peace.
